Boardwalk Empire's Paz de la Huerta has finally realized that just because you're on a violent TV show, that doesn't mean you can get away with being a bad girl in real life.

Paz pleaded guilty to harassing The City star Samantha Swetra at New York City's Standard Hotel on March 20.

The Boardwalk Empire babe had been accused of punching the MTV reality star in the face, causing a bloody nose, and throwing a glass at her.

The judge presiding over the case in Manhattan sentenced Paz to one day of community service and 12 weeks of alcohol counseling. No, we're not kidding - that's the entire punishment.

Outside the court, Paz, 26, would not discuss the case but did admit, "I'm extremely glad this is over."

Paz's criminal case has been concluded, but she still has to deal with a lawsuit Samantha filed.

Kids, this is why we don't get into drunken bar fights.

Paz de la Huerta was spotted out in New York City yesterday, and even though she was recently charged with assaulting reality TV star Samantha Swetra, she was super polite with our photographers.

De la Huerta allegedly punched Swetra in the face and threw a drink at her at The Standard Hotel on March 22nd, and last week the district attorney filed five misdemeanor charges against her, including two counts of third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, attempted assault and harassment.

Whatevs -- she's on a hit HBO show and she's nice to us, so we love her!

Boardwalk Empire actress Paz de la Huerta has been charged with assault for allegedly attacking Samantha Swetra of The City at a party in ... the city (New York, to be exact) last month.

De la Huerta showed up to court Wednesday in Manhattan to learn that the district attorney was filing five misdemeanor charges against her, including two counts of third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, attempted assault and harassment.

Swetra was also awarded a temporary restraining order against de la Huerta.

De la Huerta allegedly punched Swetra in the face and threw a drink at her at The Standard Hotel March 22nd. Things got bloody when glass cut Swetra's leg.

The Standard Hotel soiree wasn't de la Huerta's first public party; she was seen stepping out with Quentin Tarantino at several awards season events this year. Unfortunately, Tarantino wasn't around to help her out when the stumbling starlet was denied entry to a Golden Globes afterparty.

Paz de la Huerta was arrested on Tuesday night in New York City after getting into a bloody bar brawl with City star Samantha Swetra at The Standard Hotel on Sunday.

De la Huerta reportedly threw a drink at Swetra and punched her in the face, and a piece of the glass ended up getting stuck in the reality starlet's leg! The ladies were apparently fighting over a guy (what else?), and after Swetra made a snide remark about de la Huerta being drunk, the actress threw a hissy fit and went off on her.

De la Huerta was escorted out by security, and this morning Swetra and her attorney Stephanie Ovadia filed a police report. A spokeswoman for the NYPD confirmed that the Boardwalk Empire actress was charged with third degree assault, and she's due back in court on April 18.

De la Huerta is gaining a bit of a reputation for being a wild child -- remember the drunken tumble she took at the Chateau Marmont earlier this year after the Golden Globes?

Boardwalk Empire starlet Paz de la Huerta attended the HBO/SAG Awards after party at Spago last night, and the actress seemed to be in much better shape than she was at the Golden Globes bash at the Chateau Marmont two weeks ago. Paz signed autographs for fans, and when asked about her embarrassing drunken tumble she said, "You know what, that was five in the morning. I know so many people who fall down those steps sober."

Boardwalk Empire won for Best Actor (Steve Buscemi) and Best Ensemble, so we're guessing she had at least one cocktail to celebrate...

She's brilliant in Boardwalk Empire, but it looks like Paz de la Hot Mess Huerta took her alcohol guzzling role of Lucy a bit too seriously after the Golden Globes last night!

The starlet, who was clearly celebrating the HBO show's win for best drama, was seen stumbling outside of the Chateau Marmont after being denied entrance to the star-studded afterparty. Paz fell down and ripped her dress, but despite nearly passing out in the street, she signed a few autographs and told us she thought controversial host Ricky Gervais was funny. She's a real champ!
