Peter Facinelli showed his soft side Monday when he took his daughters Luca Bella Facinelli, Lola Ray Facinelli and Fiona Eve Facinelli to Target in Studio City to do a little shopping.

The 39-year-old Twilight star, who split with ex-wife Jennie Garth after 11 years of marriage, seems to be wearing the single dad suit well. Well, that and the fact that he's gone public with his new relationship with Nurse Jackie co-star Jaimie Alexander leads us to believe he's pretty comfortable these days!

They may have announced that they were ending their marriage just two weeks ago, so are Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth trying to work things out?!

Over the weekend we spotted the estranged couple with their daughters Lola and Fiona at a toy store in Sherman Oaks, and given the comments Garth has made recently, it appears as though the duo are simply maintaining a united front for their three children.

Garth has revealed that she is moving out of the couple's LA home and relocating to a farm in Southern California, and in a clip from her new show, Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country, the actress says, "I know it's the right thing for us right now. My personal life is kind of crazy, so this [move to the country] is what I need and the girls need right now. I wanted to move out of the city for a while, and something inside of me said, 'It's time.' I needed that sort of shelter. Some things in my life have been transitioning. I just needed that."

But she's not exactly ruling out a reconciliation either...

Although Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth announced they were ending their marriage of 11 years, both stars want to make it clear that neither of them cheated.

The twosome released the following statement:

“There are rumors out there which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family. We just want to make it very clear – there are no third parties involved."

A few hours after announcing the split, the 38-year-old Twilight star was seen on his motorcycle not wearing his wedding ring.

The couple are parents to daughters Luca, 14, Lola, 9 and Fiona, 5.

Just hours after announcing his split from wife of 11 years actress Jennie Garth, Facinelli was asked about his soon-to-be divorce from the former 90210 actress.

The couple are parents to Fiona, 5, Lola, 9, and Luca, 14.
