Short and Sassy vs. Long and Classy at the AMAs!

In the first big music awards show of the season, we noticed that the ladies of the AMAs all opted for dresses as opposed to a more rock n roll fashion statement. And, surprisingly, there were a lot of long gowns mixed in with the shorter frocks.
Just-turned-16 Miley Cyrus looked chic in black chiffon and gold, while Rihanna went predictably fashion forward, in a cream tiered frock, while Pink kept it pretty conservative, albeit flashy, in a strapless, sequined number.
Taylor Swift also went for the sequins, but in a short, one-shouldered gown, while Alicia Keys donned a sari-themed look.
And, of course, the Pussycat Dolls kept it sexy in fun, flirty cocktail dresses.

Pussycat Dolls look like they dressed straight out of the J C Penney catalog.

Why doesn't Beyonce pretend to sing not singing at all is worst than lip syncing.
