Of all the models, the actresses and the models-turned-actresses at the Inglourious Basterds premiere last night, we felt Diane Kruger, Agyness Deyn and Michelle Monahan were the most noteworthy (mostly because Brangelina failed to show!)

Diane made a vast improvement over her 80's beaded Versace gown in this short n sexy mini dress, while Agyness rocked the red carpet in a Rocky Horror Picture Show tee and pencil leather skirt, but Michelle Monaghan really stunned in this skin-tight Rachel Roy dress - stunning because she just had a baby ten months ago!

But the one who was stunning for an altogether different reason was...

Quentin Tarantino toasted the unveiling of a street named after him in Berlin yesterday. Ok, it wasn't really in Berlin, more like the films studio Babelsberg outside of Berlin, where he's promoting Inglorious Basterds in Potsdam.

Still, as good an excuse to drink champagne in the middle of the day as I've ever heard!

Credit Quentin Tarantino for this movie already having so much buzz!

The director is shooting Inglourious Basterds in Berlin with Brad Pitt and (his former Troy co-star) Diane Kruger. We caught a glimpse of the director and a faraway shot of his leading man... hmm, think this stunt casting will prove profitable?

We liked Death Proof, but Grindhouse didn't make any box office dough!

Brad Pitt has officially signed on for Quentin Tarantino's next film, Inglorious Bastards, where he'll play a WWII era "hillbilly" who heads a team of Jewish-American soldiers fighting the Nazis.

Although this will be the first time Pitt and Tarantino will work together, Brad has appeared in another Tarantino-written movie -- as the stoner/slacker roommate in True Romance (directed by Tony Scott).

Brad is due to start shooting in October, which gives him plenty of time to bond with his own little bastards twins!

Our sweet little Britney Spears playing a murderous lesbian stripper? We could never imagine such a thing - but Quentin Tarantino sure could!

The Telegraph reports that the Pulp Fiction director picked the pop princess to play the role of Varla in an upcoming remake of Russ Meyer's 1965 cult classic Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!.

But this ain't no Mickey Mouse role - Varla spends the movie (uh, spoiler warning) murdering her boyfriend, taking his new girlfriend hostage, and having sex with another girl before all the drama wraps up in a massive bloodbath!

A source describes Varla as "the most important character" in the film, and claims Tarantino "wanted to get Britney first" before signing any starlets to play her fellow stripping murderesses. "Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant," the source tells the Telegraph.

And it sounds like Britney's pleased with the role too - the paper says Brit is "delighted" by the role! "It is perfect Tarantino material," the Telegraph's source says. "She thinks it could turn her career around."

We'd sure love to see this go down - as long as Quentin's willing to treat Britney better than he treats our cameramen!

An unlikely pair -- Fergie and Quentin Tarantino -- bonded over birthday cake in Vegas Thursday night. She's 33; he's 45. But if trying to still be hip counts for anything that QT gets mad points!

Fergie and QT were at the Revolution Lounge and Jet nightclub at the Mirage for their big birthday blow-out emceed by Jeff Beacher. Daryl Hannah and Kid Rock were a couple of the invitees on hand.

So how come Fergie and Quentin are chilling together at all, much less celebrating their birthdays together? Well, the two met while QT was shooting Grindhouse, a movie co-written by Robert Rodriguez who directed Fergie in Planet Terror - so 'ol Rob brought 'em together.

Last night, Madonna (fresh from the set of a sexy lingerie photo shoot for Vanity Fair), Cameron Diaz, Quentin Tarantino, and Drew Barrymore & Justin Long hobnobbed at a pre-Oscar bash in Beverly Hills.

Drew, who celebrates a birthday today, even got her boytoy boyfriend to hold her purse while she smoked a ciggy - now that's love!

The Sundance Film Fesival got a little more violent yesterday afternoon - thanks to Quentin Tarantino.

The legendary Pulp Fiction director took umbrage at the paps' presence when we spotted him out and about on the streets of Park City.

At first, it looked like the scene would erupt into a brawl when Quentin suddenly lunged towards our cameraman.

Luckily for Quentin, he caught himself before his fury got him in trouble - on-camera, that is.

"If that [camera] was off," he snarled at our cameraman before skulking away, "I'd be whipping your ass up and down the street."

Jeez, Quentin - support independent filmmaking!
