New toxicology results reveal that Russell Armstrong, husband of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Taylor Armstrong, was not under the influence when he died in mid-August.
The Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner confirmed Wednesday that Russell had no drugs or alcohol in his system.
Russell's family has reportedly hired a private detective to investigate the case -- they believe hedge fund manager Russell may have been murdered as part of shady business dealings -- he was in massive debt at the time of his death.
The family also reportedly is suspicious of the fact that Russell's business partner also committed suicide within days of Russell.
But, the coroner's office released the cause of Russell's death last month as suicide by hanging, and is sticking to that declaration.

Taylor Armstrong has kept a low profile since Russell's body was discovered August 15. She was present when the body was found.
Taylor was spotted out taking her daughter, Kennedy, 5, to a party days ago. Russell was Kennedy's father.
