RHOOC star Alexis Bellino is leaving the Bravo reality show after a three season run, a source revealed to Us Weekly.

"Alexis was really tired of being bullied and chose home and family life over celebrity," the source divulged. Apparently the blonde bombshell had already begun negotiations with the network for the upcoming season, but she ultimately "wanted to go back to her simple life in Orange County."

Last season was especially traumatic for the religious mother-of-three, as she fought repeated attacks on her character by co-stars Tamra Barney and former BFF Gretchen Rossi. The 35-year-old and her husband Jim Bellino were even forced to issue a statement in their defense after being labeled "phonies" by the cast.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County is a reality show that is meant to entertain and engage audiences with the lives of its cast members. This vicious and malicious attack on our family will no longer be tolerated. We have continually tried to take the high road, however, if necessary, we are prepared to defend ourselves against these unfounded, slanderous and defamatory remarks to the fullest extent of the law," the couple said at the time.

Although Bellino is supposedly set on her decision to leave the show, a Bravo rep told Us no official decision has been made. "We have not yet made any announcements about a season 8 pick up or casting."

The remaining brigade of blondes are going to need to find another punching bag!

Out with the old, in with the new!

Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino debuted a dramatic new 'do on her Twitter account today, and we love her new look! The 35-year-old removed her hair extensions and cut her tresses into a short, blond bob, and is it just us or does she look years younger?!

"I wanted to do this cut for over a year!" she captioned the snapshot. "After last season nothing scares me! Thoughts?"

Co-star Gretchen Rossi, who showed off a shorter style similar to Bellino's last month, let her claws come out over the makeover.

"Funny when people copy a lot of things you do! Weird or compliment," she tweeted.

The back and forth insult trading continued over the microblogging site, with Bellino getting the last word when she laid claim to longer locks in the future.

"Let's just put this fire out now... I'm probably putting extensions back in 365 days from now and I'm not copying anyone. I'm calling it now. LOL," she snapped.

Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars Alexis Bellino and Tamra Barney have been enemies all season, but a comment made at the reunion show has turned their feud into an all-out war!

After Barney called Bellino 'Jesus Jugs,' the devout Christian and her husband Jim are considering legal action against the reality star, not solely because of the comment, but because of supposed slanderous remarks that were made throughout the season.

"The escalation of Tamra Barney's attacks has reached the level that we have been advised to take legal action. To be clear, Tamra's most recent statements are completely false. While her motivation may be to elevate herself by hurting others, the law does provide boundaries outside of which even she may be held liable. This vicious and malicious attack on our family will no longer be tolerated. We have continually tried to take the high road, however, if necessary, we are prepared to defend ourselves against these unfounded, slanderous and defamatory remarks to the fullest extent of the law," the couple explained in a joint statement issued Monday.

Barney fired back, telling Rumor Fix why she made the hurtful comment in the first place. "Unlike Alexis, I don't need to hide behind the Jesus curtain and I don't feel the need to preach. When someone is constantly preaching about something they are lying! Alexis and Jim are faux Christians, like her ring. Does she think Jesus would be proud of her for judging me as a Christian, and the crosses in my house? Jim Bellino used to take Peggy Tanous to strip clubs after church when they were dating," she sniped.

Miss Barney is known for never backing down from a fight, so we'll just have to wait and see if her religious reality vixen rival will put her money where her mouth is!

Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney is engaged to her love of two years, Eddie Judge, according to reports.

The Bravo reality star, 43, and her sexy Latin lover, 38, began dating shortly after her messy split from then-husband Simon Barney in January 2010. Although Barney admitted she was scared off the idea of marriage after her divorce, she later professed that Judge was her "soulmate."

Although there has yet to be an official announcement from the happy couple, it has been reported that they are trying to keep their wedding news under wraps until they shoot the reunion special that will air on Bravo later in the year.

Wedding details, including whether the network will film the ceremony, are not yet known, but we have to wonder which other Housewives will score an invite to the big day?

The Real Housewives Of Orange County have touched down in LA, and of course their first stop had to be the posh outdoor mall, The Grove, to indulge in some major retail therapy, and do an interview with Extra!

The tanned and toned ladies of the OC are retuning for their 7th season on Bravo, and now that a new Housewife has been thrown into the mix, we're expecting the most dramatic season yet.

Is Bravo's most famous franchise falling apart? The Real Housewives series on Bravo has flourished as a huge hit for the network -- shows fueled by gossip, drama and catty fun for the audience.

But it seems cast members are reaching their limits for the very real drama the show brings to their lives.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Taylor Armstrong's estranged husband committed suicide in August. Family and friends spoke of pressures he felt from the show, and Russell himself said it had pushed his family "to the limit." Taylor told Dr. Phil McGraw that Russell might still be alive if not for the show.

Then, over the weekend New Jersey's Jacqueline Laurita, Tweeted that she was "losing it" from all the drama with other cast members, and said she had quit the show in the middle of filming Season 4.

Now, Orange County's newest cast member, Peggy Tanous (left), has quit. She posted to her Facebook page on Tuesday:

"I have declined their [Bravo's] offer to return to the show. ... being around the negative energy of certain cast members, being forced to have 'dramatic' confrontations ... was just not a healthy path for me ..."

Tanous, 41, had only been a member for the most recent season (season six.)

Bravo recently fired four members of its Real Housewives of New Jersey cast. What do you think -- is the series reaching its breaking point?

Those are just a few of the choice statements screamed in the preview for The Real Housewives Of Orange County reunion, which airs June 12 at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo. The season finale airs this Sunday.

Since Bravo is promoting the reunion and the season finale hasn't even aired yet, we're guessing that the reunion gets even more volatile than the preview shows!

The trailer even features Vicki Gunvalson's estranged husband, Donn, saying: "I don't think the way this went down was treated with class or dignity." That's more sad than salacious. (This season chronicled their relationship's breakdown.)

Gunvalson was photographed out with a new boyfriend in May.

Gunvalson released the following statement: "Donn has been an important part of my life and he will continue to be. Anyone who has gone through a divorce understands that this is a personal matter and a difficult time in our lives. It's amicable and we are not at odds with one another. It's just time. I would also like to thank all of you for the love and support that we have received."

This was Vicki's second marriage. The couple renewed their vows in front of the cameras in 2009.
