Reese Witherspoon left her infant son Tennessee at home for a lunch date at The Tavern in Brentwood today, and the bubbly blonde got into the Christmas spirit with a bright red dress that showcased her amazing post-baby weight loss!

The Walk The Line star is apparently slimming down with the help of fellow new mom Jen Garner! "Both of them have a serious sweet tooth. Whenever Reese wants to reach for a chocolate bar she calls Jen instead, and vice versa," a source tells Star. Both lovely ladies count The Tavern as their favorite local eatery, but from the sounds of it, they are forgoing the delicious paninis in favor of salads!

The Oscar winner might not be indulging in Christmas feasts, but she is looking forward to the holidays with her new baby boy! "We're going to do fun things. We already bought him a cute little Santa's helper outfit and we're excited about that. That's going to be lots of fun," she recently told E! Online about her celebration plans.
