The Oscar-winner treated herself to an early meal at Brentwood's Tavern restaurant -- where President Obama dined just the other night!
Witherspoon deserves to treat herself; she's been working hard to promote her new film, Water For Elephants, which co-stars vampire hottie Robert Pattinson.
The release date for Elephants was actually moved up because the studio was banking on its overwhelming success -- and the film was definitely a hit! The circus romance, based on the best-selling book of the same name, landed in the No. 3 slot last weekend. It raked in $7 million on opening day.
