Spider-Man Star Rhys Ifans Arrested At Comic-Con

Rhys Ifans, who plays Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard in Spider-Man, was arrested for misdemeanor battery at the Comic-Con convention in San Diego Friday evening after allegedly shoving a female security guard before heading into a panel discussion.
Ifans, 44, got upset when a member of his entourage was denied entry to the hall because he lacked proper credentials, and proceeded to push the guard in order to get through. He was allowed to participate in the discussion along with co-stars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, but the guard made a citizen's arrest when the panel was finished.
A spokesperson for Sony Studios says Ifans "deeply regrets the incident," while Lt. Andra Brown, of the San Diego Police Department, says, "He was aggressive and belligerent. He was berating everyone from the security staff to the United States of America."
The actor was arrested and released and the city attorney will now decide whether to press charges. Brown went on to quote Ifans: "... according to him, the U.S. sucks and he doesn't want to come back."
Ifans dated Sienna Miller in 2007.

Hey Rhys, don't let the door hit you in the ass going to your "home" country. Oh wait, you're going to stick around the U.S. since THIS is where you're earning a paycheck?
How rude and disrespectful! His behavior is totally unprofessional. I didn't even know who he was and with that behavior he will never become someone we will want to know. There are some many actors who would love to be on a big movie but this knucklehead gets the role then acts like he is someone special. What a jerk!
he is trying to act like an idiot in L.A.?
