No Magazine Cover For Martin

The NY Daily News reports that new papa Ricky Martin won't be getting the Brangelina-level payday for pics of his twins...
Why? "We don't think he is going to tell the backstory, so the whole thing just seems kind of icky," says one editor.
A photo of the singer and his babies (delivered via an unnamed surrogate) might run in a magazine, but definitely not on the cover.
"When someone seems like they are hiding something, it's a big turnoff to the public," claims another editor.
True that! Not that Martin doesn't deserve his privacy, of course, but if he's gonna be on the cover of a mag, we'd wanna know the real story behind him and his new twins!
We're sure those twins are adorable, though - just look at Ricky Martin himself!

I don't think for a second that he needs to qualify his life choices to anyone. If he did it because he's gay and wanted to be a father good for him. If he did it cause he has yet to find the right woman to spend his life with and wants children good for him. Its his life and he does not have to seek the public's approval for these children. I would love to see pics of his twins but it is his right to keep his reasons to himself. If one is a condition of the other for the mags then shame on them. The mags can just slither back to the brangelina circus and gather more Jolie-Pitt lies to print.
I think when you are 50yr old, I dont care how skinny you are - it's time to close the legs and start wearin' friggin clothes. That's just plain nauseating.....

His "back story" is no one's business but his. From all accounts, he's been involved with child welfare charity for a long time. I just wonder why he didn't adopt. Other gay men do.

Magazines are now saying bad things about celebs who wont pimp their kids. Lets face it with Jordan and Kerry Katona on the cover every other week, Ricky Martin's twins would be a godsend back story or not. Just because herefuses to sell the pictures to pimp his kids. Many celebs are now doing that. It is tacky.
Ricky has many adopted kids, he sends them money but leaves them with their living relatives. That is better than adopting them and pimping them and making money off them.
He's not stupid as the majority of the artists whom love talk about all the details of their private life. If the note of the children went out to the public light it'ss because a journalist did an investigation (research), otherwise he had never written confirming what this journalist wrote, but without giving details only informing that he's a new papa of twins thanks to the subrogation. He has never done covers of magazines on topics of his private life
Re:Is Ricky gay? Why do people think he is gay? There are no statements in the public arena from Ricky saying he is gay. Does he not confirm his sexual preference to sell more records to gay and straight fanbases alike?
It's none of their business whether he's gay. It's his private life. If he's gay and wants to have children, it's up to him.
At least he has done something for a good cause.
