RIHANNA RUMOR ROUNDUP - Did Chris Brown Break Rihanna's Jaw?! Will Rihanna NOT Press Charges?!

When a story like the Chris Brown domestic violence allegation hits the web, it often takes on a life of its own. Every site has their own "exclusives" from their own "sources" - sometimes these stories pan out, sometimes they don't. So, taking that into consideration, we're gonna do a rumor roundup and address some of the things we've been hearing from X17online fans and as well as other media outlets.

Though it was initially reported that Rihanna only suffered bruises to her face after getting into a physical fight with boyfriend Chris Brown, it looks like it might be much more serious than that.

X17online is now hearing from fans that the R&B songtress is STILL at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, and that she's suffering from a broken jaw and other serious facial injuries. We really hope this isn't true, but we haven't seen the singer since the altercation, and we're getting kinda worried.

Additionally, Media Take Out reports that Rihanna WILL NOT file charges against her boyfriend, and that she wasn't the one who called 911; instead, it was a concerned bystander.

A source close to Rihanna tells the website that the fight was caused by the couple’s recent split - Chris reportedly wanted to end their relationship, but Rihanna wanted to stay together. Media Take Out also reports that Rihanna is no longer assisting investigators in their criminal case against Chris, and she will not file criminal charges against him.

However, this doesn't mean that the charges against Chris will be dropped - since Rihanna identified Chris as the man who assaulted her, and there is physical evidence of the attack, the state can (and in many cases will) press charges on the victim's behalf.
