There were both hits and misses on the red carpet at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France this weekend... Rihanna was definitely a hit in her gray gown. (She also won Best International Song for "Don't Stop The Music"!)
Johnny Depp's sparkling babymamma Vanessa Paradis: Hit!
Kylie Minogue... um, miss. Sorry, Kylie! We love you, just not your dress!
Britney may not have been there, but she did win Best International Album for "Blackout" - not that we didn't know it was a hit already!
Justin Timberlake, Brit's ex, won the Best International Male Award while Avril Lavigne won for Female.
Wow. Avril? Really?

The Britney fans in America got together and voted hundreds of times each. I saw the postings here, on Breathheavy and many other Britney haunts. No one else knew about that site. You could vote as many times as you wanted and some Britney fans voted thousands of times. It's a nothing award but it would have been nice if she could have gotten her act together and showed up. It's the only award that shitty album will win.
