Rihanna graces the cover of the February issue of W Magazine, and even though I wish she'd change her hair color, she still looks absolutely amazing in these shots. Rihanna chats with the publication about her new album, Chris Brown and her image, and even though she's received criticism for waiting too long to speak out, she does make for an interesting read.
So what made her decide to finally come forward and talk about her horrific beating, which occurred nearly a year ago? “Not talking was a big thing for me," she says. "I’m glad I didn’t talk to people, because I was able to deal with things in my own way, without saying the wrong things or giving people the wrong impression.”
On her album being like therapy for her, Rihanna says, “It was really personal; it was from me in the most authentic way. It’s like a movie, in that when I was making this album, every day I was in a different mood. Sometimes I was pissed off, sometimes I was miserable, and every song brings out a different story.” Rihanna continues, “I started to go crazy after about a month in the house, so I went back to work, and the mic was my therapist. With the mic, there were no negative comments, no negative energy.”
Though Rihanna is trying to push the negative energy out of her life, she is able to reflect on her relationship with Chris Brown with a renewed sense of clarity. “There were control issues, insecurity,” she says. “When people are insecure they become very controlling and they can get very aggressive and in turn abusive. It doesn’t have to be physical. Like they would say bad stuff to you to make you feel lesser than them just so they would have control in the relationship. It takes a big toll on your emotions and on your everyday life. It changes you.”
If only she'd change that damn hair of hers!

Don't care
Yeah you were the controling b*tch until he finally got fed up with you !!
dun really care. she looks more like withney houston or whateva da name is. she just looks ugly to me. she thinks she all that and dresses up so weird. just plain old and ugly.
Talentless and ugly, just like the majority of black women.
Everyone look at me!!! This is what this woman is always saying with her horrific outfits. Can't stand her songs-can't stand looking at her or hearing about how Chris hurt her-ENOUGH already-we heard!
1:20 Really? Is that why the majority of reality shows are filled with talentless, desperate, drop to their knees for anyone in a corner, fake, plastic surgery nightmare, dick-jumping blonde chicks? It doesn't take talent or a set of flotation devices to be ugly and nasty...oh wait, you've already proven that or should I say "you people"!
She looks like an idiot. She is not POP by any standard. She drones on with that horrid R&B whining garbage. BLECH. 1:20, that's pretty much it, unless you are Beyonce and pay a fortune so you can look as white as possible.
Sure Jay-Z love these pictures from his best no talented hoe.
3:36, I was unaware that reality shows are the current standard for talent. But, if that is the measure then look no further than the real whore wives of Atlanta, plenty of stupid black women one that show. The last talented black woman i can think of is Aretha Franklin and she can't pay her bills!
All that posting about being abused was her paid pr posters trying to get attention for her album. None of those posters posted anything when Charlie Sheen abused his wife.
I can't wait until she jump on the next man and he end it with her.
Does anyone really like her?
all u bitches are mean!!!!! it woulda been sad if she came out the day after her bf beat her up and talked about it, thats desperate for attention!! nobody deserves to be hit and she looks beautiful in the pictures!!!! Haters!!!
Bs.That bitch is a loser. She keeps talking about that episode only to promote her crappy album(i can't stand the song Russian Roulette, she sings sooo bad) and to play the "poor" victim of a bad guy again. But she's the "bad guy" of the story, not him.She set him up,and set many other guys up too. She's insane and dangerous.
Ah,she did not get her life back. She's still a crazy whore, talentless, ugly(inside and outside),a liar, pathetic and a LOSER.And a pathetic interview won't make people feel sorry for her or believe in her fake story, once a liar bitch, always a liar bitch.
I love you Rihana because you are a beautiful girl
