Rihanna Says White People Put Pressure On Her
Posted on Mon Oct 3, 2011 09:45 AM PDT
Rihanna is going blonde (again) for the cover of British Vogue, and the songstress is her usual controversial self.
She made headlines last week when the Irish farmer whose land she was using to film her latest vid said he found her outfit "inappropriate."
But the singer doesn't seem to care. She told the mag:
"See, people –- especially white people -– they want me to be a role model just because of the life I lead."
The singer also defended her use of the "c word" to Vogue. She's been seeing wearing a necklace with the word on it, but says it's a commonplace term in Barbados, where she's from.
