Why Did She Take Him Back???

After learning that Rihanna and Chris Brown had gotten back together, we were shocked and found ourselves asking lots of questions...why would Rihanna do this? Does she care about the example she's setting for the millions of battered women out there? Why does her father support her decision?
Rihanna still hasn't spoken about the incident, and we're beginning to wonder if she ever will. It's already been established that the singer will not press charges, but is she really going to be able to maintain a "normal" relationship with the man who put her in the hospital?
Do you think Chris will do this again? And will Rihanna continue to stand by her man, even though he seems dangerous and capable of doing far worse things to her?

As a celebrity you have certain responsibilities to your fans. I was in a abusive relationship & I finally found the strength to leave but it took many beatings & the scars go much deeper than on the surface. I don't agree w/her staying but having been there & lived it it is not as easy as people think. There are so many more issues w/her than she is able to see. God help her find herself.

I think that Chris Brown is immature and maybe ignorant in most respect. For someone to risk losing everything in a moment's lack of good judgment, to me is an asshole. However, I don't think that he is a bad kid. Rihanna's decision to go back with him may not be the wisest and he may do it again, but it is her decision. I just hope that he deals with his issues and return to being a loved citizen and artist.
