Madonna is Madonna, and she can wear whatever she wants. Sam has always worn 'em so that's okay. And RDJ? He's the man! 'Nuff said.

LiLo has only recently caught onto the trend, which means sister Ali was soon to follow. But what about hunky Hugh Jackman? I'm still on the fence with him! Maybe he should just take his shirt off instead...

Iron Man himself, RDJ (looking very AJ McLean-ish with that goatee) spent Memorial Day in the 'Bu with his boo, wife Susan and son Indio!

Robert was pretty tight-lipped on the progress of the Iron Man sequel, but we can't wait to see him as Sherlock Holmes this fall!

Is RDJ getting in a fight???

Nah, he's just working out with his personal trainer on the set of Iron Man 2 in Hollywood. Hey, if Gwyneth gets into a cat fight with ScarJo, someone's gotta be prepared to step in and break those ladies up!

Guess they're definitely still a couple (even though they hid from the cameras all night!) - after all, we just saw them together with the kids in Santa Monica on Friday!

Anyway, Robert Downey, Jr. had a birthday par-tay (he's now 44) at Bond St. in the Thompson Hotel last night and the guest list included Gwyneth and hubby Chris, Reese Witherspoon (pictured above) and Jake and, of course, Iron Man director Jon Favreau...

Gwyneth goes out solo so much of the time, we were almost certain she and Chris were over, but not yet, apparently!

...and adorable son Indio! Wow, this kid's really growing up fast. Think he wants to be in the movie biz like his famous folks?

Sometimes I find it hard to believe that Robert Downey, Jr. has fully recovered from, uh, his past. But seeing him out and about with his (gorgeous!) wife Susan in Marina del Rey yesterday afternoon makes me feel all warm and fuzzy where my heart should be!

Is the Iron Man star still a hunk?

Robert Downey Jr. attended the Oscar Nominees Luncheon in Beverly Hills yesterday, and the Tropic Thunder star sported an oh so symbolic gold tie. Think this will help him win a Best Supporting Actor statue?

Hey, at least he showed up!

Robert Downey Jr. took a break from shooting "Sherlock Holmes" in NYC the other day, and he happily posed for the dozens of photogs camped out nearby the set.

Ok, you're Sherlock Holmes, we get it, but can't you ditch the costume for one night?

At least he didn't wear that outfit to the Globes!

An Iron Man!

We spotted Robert Downey, Jr. at a photo shoot over the weekend rockin' a pretty sweet hat. Very Sherlock Holmes-ish, which makes sense, since that's the latest movie he's been shooting.

Sweet, dude!

We almost didn't recognize the summer blockbuster king in that 'stache! We hope it's for a role, because RDJ is super-sexy normally!

Here he is, lunchin' with some family in the 'bu, wearing a tee either advocating for the environment or sobriety. But hey, we're for both!

TomKat weren't the only celebs at the Tropic Thunder premiere last night (which we hear is hysterical), actor/director Ben Siller, Robert Downey, Jr., who apparently steals the show, Jack Black (with what looks like a jacket painted with bolts of lightning!), and Matthew McConaughey, who replaced Owen Wilson in an uncredited cameo also showed up to walk the red carpet!

This time, luckily, Matty left Levi at home, but check out all the stars at the Tropic after party at Crown Bar!

Robert Downey Jr.'s certainly been living the good life ever since Iron Man's smashing success earlier this summer - and if you need evidence, just check out his new car!

We caught Robert and his son Indio quietly leaving the Bodhi Tree in a new Bentley yesterday afternoon. Damn, Robert - that thing's almost as sick as Seal's new car!

Robert Downey, Jr. was all smiles when we caught him leaving the gym yesterday afternoon. Then again, Robert's smiling pretty much all the time these days - gee, I wonder why!

After their successful weekend at the box office - Iron Man took in over $100 million in the U.S. alone - star Robert Downey, Jr. and director Jon Favreau celebrated by dining at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills!

So nice to see Downey back on top again, right? He's a fantastic actor so he deserves it. Just don't screw up now!

And let me add this: Iron Man is a great, GREAT movie - definitely one of the best comic book adaptations ever. See it!

With Iron Man breaking the bank over the weekend, Robert Downey Jr.'s living large these days - and he's bringing his son Indio along for the ride!

The actor graciously posed for the photographers as he and Indio made their way into Nobu last night. Robert's son seemed a little embarrassed at all the attention he and his father were getting - better get used to it, kid!

Is there anything better than being in Paris with the one you love? It certainly seems to have done Robert Downey, Jr. a world of good - when our videographers caught up with the actor and his wife Sarah Levin yesterday afternoon, Robert was all too happy to shoot the breeze with the paps!

Mostly, though, Robert just looked thrilled to be enjoying his time in Paris with Sarah. (Of course, starring in a huge blockbuster movie whose opening is mere weeks away is pretty thrilling too!)
