Robert Downey Jr. attended the Oscar Nominees Luncheon in Beverly Hills yesterday, and the Tropic Thunder star sported an oh so symbolic gold tie. Think this will help him win a Best Supporting Actor statue?
Hey, at least he showed up!

It's tough one. Of course Ledger was scary as crap as the joker, but the aussie method actor in black face...in any other year it would have been downey.
