Summit made a mistake of trying to promote the movie by letting the paparazzi shoot the kissing scene. It looked awkward. I'm sure it will look fine on film, appropriately cut by a good director. But in stills it wasn't anything to write home about. Let alone the fact that rumors of Rob and a married woman aren't exactly making me want to support the film.

Robert once said he's not really romantic leading man material and I"m wondering if he's right cause the kissing scene was a little meh. I hope the heat is there, I want this film to succeed for him, but so far it's looking a little anemic.

I think it would be really hard to be a twenty-something actor/actress, have makeout/sex scenes with a costar, and not be friends with them. I too feel EDR is too old to play a 19 year old college student in this movie, she does not look 19 at all compard to Rob who does have a baby face and I also hope this movie is NOT just about these two- BORING. I would like a real drama movie from Rob, he can do a love story anytime. I want more than an average movie. I agree that Robert should have done some supporting roles with very reputable actors first before launching into a star vehicle like this, where the main selling point is him. I want the kid to have some longevity , and to survive the Twilight madness.
