Twilight author Stephenie Meyer is currently promoting her new book, The Host, and while she's been answering questions about her latest literary masterpiece, reporters seem more interested in her take on Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's relationship.

"Here's the thing: there are some actors who are looking to be world famous, to be that household name, and although they might discover that there are a lot of negative things involved in that, it's what they want," Meyer told U.K. publication The Times.

"But that doesn't apply to Kristen and Rob," says. "That's what makes it kind of ironic and tragic ... I just don't think they enjoy the parts [of fame] that other people would. And I totally get that, because it would not be my thing either ... If they had the choice, I've no idea if they'd even do Twilight again. I just don't know. I think this has all come at a heavy price."

After the news came out that Kristen cheated on Rob with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders last spring, the couple split, only to get back together last fall. Despite making the rounds to promote the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn - Part Two, the two haven't been seen together in months, as Rob is in Australia shooting The Rover.

Robsten's current relationship status is not known, though she has been hanging out with his friends, so maybe they're keeping a close eye on her and reporting back to Rob until he gets back?

They may have broken up, but they sure did bring in the big bucks on the big screen!

Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were just crowned the highest earning romantic on-screen couple by Forbes magazine, bringing in a whopping $1.17 billion at the box office with the Twilight films over the last three years.

"There is something unique about these films in the way that people have attached themselves to them. The movies are unconventional, and you have the added element that the two people are a couple in real life," a rep for Forbes explains.

Channing Tatum and his The Vow co-star Rachel McAdams came in second, grossing $125 million domestically for their tear jerker.

Interestingly enough, Pattinson and Tatum both made the list twice with two different co-stars!

Robsten has called it quits again, folks!

Rob Pattinson recently broke it off with Kristen Stewart after fighting nonstop over the holidays, The Sun reports.

The British actor reconciled with his Twilight co-star after her highly publicized cheating scandal with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders last year, but the pressure he was getting from friends and family to ditch her finally motivated him to split with the brunette beauty.

"He was getting so much pressure to ditch her. His friends told him to focus on his career and said she was wrecking his chances," a source told the publication.

The On The Road star had plans to attend the Golden Globes with her beau, but he reportedly told her he wanted to "cool off."

The 22-year-old actress is taking the news surprisingly well, actually!

"Kristen's upset but understands. She shouldn't have pushed him to reconcile after her infidelity. She's hoping he'll come round and time will be a great healer," a source adds.

R-Patz will remain at his L.A. home, while K-Stew is said to be considering a move to New York, where she believes she is afforded more privacy.

Robert Pattinson was all business on Saturday as he, and his trusty guitar, arrived at JFK airport in New York City.

The 26-year-old actor was in town shooting a commercial for his new men’s Dior fragrance without girlfriend Kristen Stewart. He's probably rushing back to her just in time for the holidays!

A reunited Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart appeared at peace when the two touched down at JFK airport in New York City on Friday.

The Twilight stars reportedly spent Thanksgiving with Pattinson's family in Englad before heading back stateside. Stewart's time with her beau's family seems to suggest that all is well since their split earlier due to her fling with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

Glad to see that they're moving on in the right direction!



After a tumultuous year -- a cheating scandal, a breakup and a makeup -- Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reunited on the red carpet Monday night for the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.

It's the final installment in the Twilight series and masses of sad, nostalgic fans had been camping out at the Nokia Theater at LA Live to watch their favorite cast hit the premiere line one last time.

Stewart, 22, walked behind Pattinson, 26, as they signed autographs and took photos for the hungry vampire fans. Stewart wore her sexiest premiere look yet -- a Zuhair Murad gown which was mostly see-through, with a sexy, exposed derriere. Pattinson wore an unusual but dapper green suit.

Nothing like a late night water fight!

Twilight star Robert Pattinson and Jimmy Fallon played a little game called Water Wars during RPatz late night appearance ... and seems as though both men lost.

Fallon explained the rules to Pattinson saying: "It's just like the card game War, but with water, so If you lose a hand you get splashed in the face."

After Rob lost the first round, the host told the sexy actor, "I don't want to do this to you, I'm so sorry. Don't be mad at me."

Pattinson responded with the following: "I need to wake up. Hit me!"

Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner make an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow, but lucky for you, we've got a sneak peek at their interview! The boys chat about Breaking Dawn, their wax figures, Rob's dog and the actor's struggle to keep his fly up, and at the end of the show, Ellen gives the boys a half dozen pairs of colorful underwear!

Rob and Taylor talk about shooting both Breaking Dawn films simultaneously, but that hasn't always been the case with Twilight, as the cast and crew took nearly a year off between the first film and New Moon. Rob joked, "The gap between the first and the second one that was when Taylor left the first film a 15-year-old little boy with a long wig and he came back like a Chippendale!" Rob certainly knows how to make his co-stars blush!

While Ellen didn't bring up Kristen Stewart during the sit-down, she did ask about the dog the two adopted last year. Check out the video below to see what Rob had to say about his pup ... and keeping his pants zipped!
