Robert Pattinson Clears His Schedule For 'New Moon'

There's some good news and some bad news for Twilight fans.
Let's start with the good news.
It looks like production on New Moon is quickly moving forward!
But that brings us to the bad news.
Because of New Moon's production schedule, Robert Pattinson is dropping out of Parts Per Billion, an indie film that would have teamed Spunk Ransom with Rosario Dawson and Juno star Olivia Thirlby.
So that means RPattz fans will have to console themselves with the two films, Little Ashes and How to Be, he's already got in the can.
Meantime, Team Jacob members should find out this week if Taylor Lautner will get to keep the role of Jacob Black in New Moon.
Taylor's been doing everything in his power to hang on to the role. He's reportedly put on nearly 20 pounds of muscle and is working on adding another 10 pounds.
''My job for Twilight was to bring Twilight Jacob to life — the friendly, happy-go-lucky little Jacob,'' Taylor told MTV News.
''My job for New Moon is completely different. I've been looking forward to that. I've been getting ready for it, and I can assure them I will follow through with that.''

Taylor couldn't possibly stay on as Jacob. Hello people read the book, the character is huge, at least 6'5" or more. They need a tall muscular guy to be Jacob. Taylor maybe putting on the muscle but in less he grows a foot, he's gotta be out.

well i think that it is kinda pointless to change the characters now. i dont know about you, but i dont like it when the movie buisness does a sequel and does not have the same characters.. what would be the point???
