who do we think we are to tell someone to quit smoking? it is up to the individual. i smoked for 15 years and quit 3 and 1/2 years ago. sometimes i still want a cig. it is a habit and something that people, (myself included) enjoy. smoke on Rob. if he quits it is because it was HIS choose, not yours.

wow, everyone seems to have an opinion about Rob smoking. Weird. I would personally carry on doing my own thing and ignore the world and their opinions, seeing as smoking (and anything else in life) is a personal choice.

Perhaps he's one of those rare "considerate" smokers who can hide in a corner and keep his toxic fumes to himself. To people like me who suffer from asthma, simply walking by a cloud of second hand smoke sends me into a choking fit; my throat closes up and it feels like I'm being smothered. I avoid it as much as I can, but it's not always possible. So yeah, it kinda is my business when someone's lifestyle choice interferes with my health!

You know nothing about my problems. Yes, unfortunately, the world does not revolve around me, but until you've walked a mile in my shoes, don't judge too harshly. There are many hazards in this world, some preventable, some not. Cigarette smoke is certainly one of the more controllable hazards. Perhaps if I had not watched cigarettes suck the life out of my grandfather and father, I could be a little more objective, but really, it's one of those issues that I will not budge on. So in the famous words of Forrest Gump, "that's all I have to say about that..."

What's the problem with smoking?Everybody is free to do what he/she wants.In Europe smoking isn't a big deal,in my country half population smokes.Robert is Brit,smoking and drinking is very usual in his country as in mine.Chill out,he isn't blowing the smoke to your face.I need a ciggie now...LOL
