He looked so handsome and happy on the red carpet at the Cosmopolis premiere in New York City on Monday night, but on Tuesday evening Rob Pattinson looked downright depressed when we snapped his picture. The Twilight hunk kept it casual for dinner in the Big Apple, and it seems as though he still hasn't gotten over the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal.

And no one will let him forget about it! George Stephanopoulos started off the interview with a question about Rob's private life. And after Jon Stewart did his Ben & Jerry's joke on The Daily Show, George followed suit with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Geez, let the poor guy move on already!

Over the past few months, he's been attached to Mission: Blacklist (a drama about the hunt for Saddam Hussein) and The Rover (a "dirty and dangerous near-future Western set in the Australian desert," according to IMDb), and now Variety reports that he's signed on to star opposite Naomi Watts in Werner Herzog's next film Queen Of The Desert. The movie will tell the true story of traveler/writer/archaeologist Gertrude Bell (Watts), and Pattinson will play T.E. Lawrence (aka Lawrence Of Arabia), who worked with Bell to establish the Hashemite dynasties in Jordan and Iraq.

Looks like he won't even have time to think about K. Stew!
