Rob To Star In A Movie With Sean And Reese!

He's totally on his way to becoming Leo DiCaprio 2.0!
Reese Witherspoon is already attached to star, and Sean Penn and Rob Pattinson are eying Fox 2000's adaptation of Water for Elephants, reports Variety. Here's the plot:
- "Set during the Great Depression, Sara Gruen's best-selling book tells the story of a Cornell University veterinary student who leaves his studies after his parents are killed, and joins up with the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth, working as a vet for the circus."
Sounds kinda weird! But with these three starring, it's sure to be a hit. Right?

Sean as August??? This will be an epic failure; none of them have the range to bring the characters to life and do justice to the book. But if Hollywood is just looking for names in bright lights, their first weekend box office might be decent.

"Water" is a great book. I wonder if Pattinson has the acting chops to do it proud. He may be hunk du jour, but the character of Jacob isn't a vamp... he's a vet student.
