Third Twilight Film Announced!

Good news for you Twilight addicts!
According to Access Hollywood, Summit Entertainment has confirmed that the third film in the Twilight series, "Eclipse," will hit theaters on June 30, 2010. Additionally, the series has been officially named "The Twilight Saga."
While this may seem like a long wait, don't forget that the second installment in the series, er saga, “New Moon,” will be released on November 20, which is only nine months away!
Think the sequels will be as good as the first? Better?

no, x17 totally heard them wrong. cuz i was watching access hollywood too when they said news about Eclipse. they're FILMING it next june, it's not coming out. it's set to be released in april 2011

Actually, Anonymous 7:15, if you wikipedia it, Eclipse is slotted to be in released (in theaters) on June 10, 2010. Not film in June. Eclipse filming begins August 2009 and it's going to be directed by a new person too. David Slade. It's a quick relase after New Moon, but it's not unheard of. Take Lord of The Rings for instance. Those were filmed and released rather quickly.
They are supposed to be filming New Moon and Eclipse one after the other because of age. I have also heard the June 2010 release date for about 4 months now.
