I could have forgiven this man if he had owned up to what he did and did not run away but he has been raping this child for decades by not serving his time. a country that does not accept an international court for its own war crimes, but does want it to count for any other country cannot cry foul when another democratic country applies the rules its citizens made up. Remember there is hardly a country more democratic than Switzerland that uses public voting on almost every rule they impose.

America should have given all the right paperwork to Switzerland so that they could determine his guilt (he was indeed guilty of raping the girl and it is a crime even taking into account his mental state after the murder of his wife and child). But NOOOO America is world leader and does not have to justify itself to any other country.

In journalism, you only say "allegedly" until the person on trial is convicted. Then you no longer say "allegedly". Roman Polanski was tried, convicted, and was going to be sentenced when he fled the country. He's a convicted rapist, and it's no longer appropriate to say "allegedly" in reference to the pedophile dirtbag. Don't worry: he can't sue you for saying the truth once he's been convicted in court.
