Princess Beatrice's Hat Sells For $130K On EBay

Princess Beatrice's Philip Treacy hat she wore to the royal wedding on April 29 has sold for $130,000 on EBay.
The buyer, who has chosen to remain anonymous, payed 81,100.01 pounds which is the equivalent to roughly $130K in U.S. currency. The 22-year-old princess, who is the daughter of Duchess Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew, released the following statement:
- "It has its own personality, and I am so happy that we have raised the most incredible amount of money and can make an even bigger change for the lives of some of the most vulnerable children across the world."
All proceeds will go to UNICEF UK and Children in Crisis by way of Beatrice's Little Bee Initiative.
Hats off to her for being so generous!
