Russell Brand Spends Time Away From New Wife Katy Perry

Newlywed Russell Brand was spotted entering a London hotel solo just two and a half weeks after his wedding to singer Katy Perry. Perry is in New York after performing during the Victoria's Secret runway show Wednesday night.

Russell gave his first interview since his nuptials in India October 23rd, discussing married life with the ladies of the British talk show Loose Women. Brand, 35, told the women: "The other day, I put a shirt on and she went ... 'You're wearing that shirt, are you?' I thought, 'That's actually happening? That's a thing off a sitcom! That happened in my actual life. I wasn't allowed to wear it. If she says don't wear that shirt, I don't wear it."

Katy's got Russell whipped! Guess she's gotta keep the former sex addict on a short leash, especially when they'll have to spent so much time away from each other for work. But if anyone had any doubts about the solidity of their marriage, Russell allayed those concerns saying, "All of us, really, have a deep yearning within us for love. I think eventually you find a spiritual and emotional connection with someone and I think it unifies with everyone ... That's how I feel."
