Yesterday morning Russell Brand was snapped at Ashtanga Yoga in Hollywood, and the lanky comedian joked around with photographers about his standup DVD being a workout video. Come to think of it, we'd love to see a Russell Brand workout video! It would be just as amazing as the Twitter pic of the hunk trying on wedding dresses for his soon-to-be wife Katy Perry...

^^^ I agree completely but it's not only his committment to his sobriety (which IS so admirable all by itself.)
I'm also a huge fan because he seems to have such a beautiful soul, he's HONEST with his fans (read his book), he's very intelligent and literate, he's funny and charming in a REAL way (not just for the cameras), he takes pics and signs autographs for fans, and he has TRULY worked his way up into the Hollywood scene.
Nothing was handed to him by rich parents or because his family knew someone connected to the industry.
Also, he seems to really APPRECIATE his fame (and not just CLAIM that he does in interviews.)
Russell always seems happy. He doesn't have a miserable, depressed, hiding-his-face, "what a horrible life I have" and a "don't look at me" attitude, common to WAY too many Hollywood stars.
Go, Russell - love ya!!
