Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Josh Brolin To Star In Gangster Film

It’s a triad of man meat all in one movie: Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Josh Brolin are in talks to star in a new gangster pic, according to Variety.
The Gangster Squad follows the Los Angeles Police Department’s fight to keep the Mafia out of LA in the ’40s and ’50s. Deadline reports that Penn will play a mobster to Gosling and Brolin's cops.
These actors are accustomed to sharing the big screen with fellow hunks. Penn can next be seen in The Tree of Life with Brad Pitt, while Gosling has The Ides of March with George Clooney out in October. Brolin is filming Men in Black III with Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.

Gosling, who got Oscar buzz for Blue Valentine last year, can also be seen in dramedy Crazy, Stupid, Love with Steve Carell, Emma Stone, Marisa Tomei, Kevin Bacon and Julianne Moore in July.
Penn has gained attention as of late for his relationship with newly divorced Scarlett Johansson. But he's also in talks to star in The Last Photograph with Christian Bale, according to Deadline.
