Despite being hot, an amazingly talented actor and having dated a couple of his co-stars, Ryan Gosling's pretty much managed to stay out of the spotlight.
So it's a bit surprising to us to see him going to Bardot (video here), where he was not only partying with a couple of chicks (where's Rachel!?!?), but he was also the DJ!
No, no, no, no! We like to imagine that Ryan's above all that nonsense, happily enjoying an intense love affair in Canada with Rachel McAdams, where they repeatedly enjoy long, passionate kisses in the rain and are above all the trappings of the LA nightlife. Guess we were wrong.
I think I'm gonna go curl up on my couch and watch The Notebook in a continual loop for the next 24 hours.

Good question - where IS Rachel? They haven't been seen together in months. I'm going to have to guess that it's over already, even though that is her sister that he is leaving with. Doesn't mean much though, since he hung out with her even when they weren't together.

... Dude, Rachel is FILMING A MOVIE in London. Thus why, you know, she's not around to hang out with Ryan.
It doesn't take much research to figure that one out.
She wasn't filming a movie in London this past weekend when she was in Toronto at an event! And Ryan wasn't in Toronto with her. Hmm.
As a general rule, she follows him around more than he follows her. And they never go to events together.
So, when she is filming this movie in London, they are planning on spending the whole time apart? That will work, or not!

Uh, yeah 2:00. When he broke up the first time with Rachel, her sister was still hung out with him. That's why people didn't want to believe for months that they broke up. Isn't he good friends the sister's boyfriend?
Ryan and Zach (Kayleen's boyfriend) became friends because they were dating sisters and still are good friends even if one part is not dating one of the sisters.
