Hard to believe that he was once a heart throb, not because of his looks but because he is an ugly person. Its a shame what drugs do to a person, the effects last a lifetime (especially when you continue to do them for a lifetime) What a waste.

Just imagine you lost a loved one and were still grieving and you have all the low life paparazzi stalking you 24/7. On top of that your son is in jail and a drug addict. I doubt any one of you would not lose it now and then. Why condemn him...do you personally know him or walk in his shoes?
I can't understand why these celebrities who hate being chased by the paparazzi live in Hollywood/Malibu to begin with! Paul Newman was smart enough to lead a normal life in a beautiful country home in Connecticut with Joanne Woodward and although he was the number one box office star he had a completely private life. Why do today's "stars" complain about the paparazzi yet live in Beverly Hills where they will never have privacy..nor their children.

Ryan O'Neal was sorta HAWT when he was young but he's aged terribly. He's been through a terrible ordeal with Farrah but he was looking "long in the tooth" before she announced she had anal cancer.
I hope he can eventually sober up and learn to manage his anger issues.
