What's Ryan's "Gayest Look"?
Posted on Tue Apr 1, 2008 01:25 PM PDT

That's the question Jay Leno asked the Stop-Loss star on The Tonight Show last week - Ryan Phillippe's first role was as a gay teen on soap opera One Life to Live.
Ryan replied with, "Wow, that is so something I don't want to do," and nearly walked off the stage. Did Leno cross the line? We think so... as does GLAAD, who believes the talk show host demonstrated "a lack of respect for the gay community and insensitivity to both his co-workers and the audience."
The gay rights organization also thinks Jay "owes an apology." What's your take on the incident?
UPDATE: Jay Leno apologized. Smart move!
Apologize, Leno! Not only were you unfunny, you were also offensive. Time to do the right thing!

This happened last week...not last night! X17 you disappoint me.
To answer your question...Yes. Jay should apologize and good for Ryan for not stooping to such a low level. He has some class.
I think it's freaking ridiculous. I have alot of gay friends and they don't get offended when I say "that's so gay" or something. What happened to freedom of speech for crying out loud?
And besides, I don't think Leno was trying to start something. It was supposed to be in good fun and people are blowing it out of proportion.
Ryan is hot. Jake made the wrong choice... he should have went after ryan.
People need to get over this crap. God forbid (can I say God?) that anyone ever say anything that might upset someone especially a "Hollywood Star". Good grief, get over yourselves. Plus this movie is an insult to the soldiers who have or are serving our country.
I told my gay friend about this and he could have cared less HAHA..he says "so?"
some of these people are way to sensitive...they need to FUCKING RELAX
All you homos and homo lovers get back in the closet where you belong. And shut up. Nobody care if your gay ass feeling got hurt. fucking queers.
Jay was unfunny and has a history of being a jerk making gayness into a big Joke. At least Ryan Phillipe showed some class.
I think it is ridiculous that Jay would do that.
What if he had asked him to give him a "black" look?
We're all human, and he is just pushing for more segregation.
WHO THE FUCK CARES? I THINK PEOPLE ALWAYS TRY TO MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING! IF HE ASK A GAY GUY A QUESTION ABOUT BEING STRAIT WOULD ALL THE STRAIT PEOPLE BE PISSED OFF? NO GET OVER IT!
Jay Leno is a jackas idiot, who is not even funny. And he is very homophobic. I am ready for him to leave and have Conan take over the Tonight Show!
gladd is always overreacting, because of it it's hard to sympathize, and causes people to turn against them.
JAY is the CLASSIEST comedian and because he's Number 1 every idiot out there is trying to knock him. Nice try.
I saw his profile with photos on Richsoulmate.com, where celebrities and wealthy singles hook up. He feels lonely, doesn't he? Is he looking for a serious relationship or just for fun?
Who the hell is Ryan Phillippe? I thought you guys were talking about Ryan Seacrest.

1:45 PM, Sensitive? They are just looking for another handout from a rich guy.
FUCK THE GAY COMMUNITY BUCH OF FREAKS!
It says in the first line LAST WEEK.
No biggie, being gay is nothing to be ashamed of, and nothing to be overly exited about. You are what you are and if you take offence of everybody that you THINK is anti-gay it is playing into their hands.
I can't believe that he would apologize. What a stupid thing to be upset about. I can't help but wonder where is the anger for the treatment of US soldiers serving in Iraq or the gay student who was shot in his computer lab by his fellow classmate, or your anger over the treatment of the people of Darfur. Or a million other important issues that far outway you anger at a late night comedians job. Get over this poor me mentality that plagues our society.
