Now wait a minute. There's no need to call her names or criticize her accent. My comment was made in the spirit of I cannot believe it's necessary, healthy or both to gain that much weight all over ones' body because of pregnancy.

Granted, I'm 5' 10" so my 30 lbs pretty much went to my boob and abdomen. But still, it's not a good sign. Esp. in this age of obesity.

Actually most petite women just look like they have a basketball under their shirts, and stay tiny everywhere else. of course her being petite has something to do with how she carries her weight. i am very petite and i have 3 boys, therefore it looked like i swallowed a baksetball each time, but my legs stayed slim, however, friends of mine, roughly the same height and weight, carried VERY different when they were preggers with girls. they carried more in the hips/thighs, and behind..when you are short and petite, you do not carry weight as well as a taller woman..end of story.

When all is said and done though, Salma is teeny, only 5'2" 20 pounds looks like a lot. She probably is wearing a size 8 now. She is older, 40 in a little over a month. Its harder on the body to be pregnant at 40 than it was at 20. She is Mexican, Mexican women tend to bulk up when pregnant. All things considered, she looks fantastic.
