Entertainment Weekly reported that the 46-year-old Savages actress will return as a guest-star on the series finale of 30 Rock, playing Jack Donaghy’s (Alec Baldwin) love interest Elisa, a nurse who murdered her ex-husband. Salma is currently shooting The Prophet (she's not starring but she is producing) and she was also recently named co-chair of the Independent Spirit Awards with Jeremy Renner ... talk about a busy schedule!

The 46-year-old actress donned a leopard print top with black trousers while her little girl sported a cute polo club sweater and some pricey Gucci rain boots, worth $235. Looks like she has some expensive taste just like her mom!

"Maybe before it was harder for me to make people laugh. Now it's the opposite. It's hard to cry. The truth is I'm very happy to be happy," she recently admitted to EFE. "When I was young, I was much more melodramatic. As an actress, there were times I even enjoyed pain, suffering a little. Well, I didn't enjoy it, but I had an inclination toward melodrama. I was good at making people cry. Now, when I have a character that suffers, where you have to [do some soul searching] I can do it no problem, but I prefer making comedies," she confessed.

Salma Hayek and her adorable daughter Valentina made their way through LAX yesterday, and the duo sure travel in style! The Savages actress wore black jeans and a cutout black tank, but she opted for sensible sneakers for her travel day.

The 45-year-old brunette beauty landed herself in hot water recently over comments she made in the German edition of Vogue. Speaking about her role in Savages as the head of a Mexican drug cartel, the Latina star said, "I am proud to have been involved in this film with all these great actors. Honestly, I hardly had any memories of what it is to be Mexican. My life is completely different now."

Her fans were outraged she denounced her heritage, but the Frida star quickly issued a statement to the AP, insisting her comments were lost in translation.

"I have never denied my background or my culture. I have taught my child to embrace her Mexican heritage, to love my first language, Spanish, to learn about Mexican history, music, folk art, food, and even the Mexican candy I grew up with. I have always been an active part of my community. I have tried my whole life to represent my Mexican roots with honor and pride. It saddens me when my words are lost in translation and taken out of context to hurt the people of Mexico, whom I love," she explained.
