Salma Hayek's $5700 Boots Weren't Made For Walking

Salma Hayek sported a pair of almost $6,000 Balenciaga peep-toe booties that looked quite uncomfortable to the Christie's Green Auction: A Bid to Save the Earth in New York last night.
Although wearing such opulent footwear to a green auction may not be entirely prudent, since Salma's hubby is the CEO of the company that owns Balenciaga, let's hope Hayek just borrowed the booties and will return them to be recycled to another owner!
So what do you think about the Nicholas Ghesquiere designed footwear? Worth the green?
