well, if you follow Sam, Nicole and her hubby Joel Madden on Twitter, than you will see that they have done that more often last months...Sam was friends with Nicole before she even was with Lindsay. I think it's healthy and Lindsay will give her the space this time, cause this time she wants her relationship to be succesful in the end.
And i think it's important for Sam to get her friends and family back behind Lindsay again (after that Chateau drama night)..she will do everything to bring them with Lindsay together again, but it will take some time.

Lindsay has the wisdom to stay at home instead of going and making it uncomfortable for everyone. i'm sure they go together in the future, but it takes some time (between Linds/Nicole).

Sources say LL has been on her best behaviour, keeping a low profile (as much as possible) and giving Sam plenty of space. She's been trying to keep it on the down low in sake of their relationship and it worked.

I think it's more healthy now that they're both spending more time with family and friends..before the break they did everything together (sleeping, eating, clubbing, travelling, shopping and even working (dj-ing/on a movieset)..then you get on eachother nerves. Before they did everything with the two of them and it didn't work for them (for no one i'm sure)
