I think that if they're still in love with each other, they should get back together but take it very slowly- i.e. don't live together, get couples counseling (and any other necessary counseling), be able for each of them to focus well on their respective careers (which would involve traveling seperately), and talk together as 'one' with their families to work on their family member's concerns/issues etc. If that's not in the cards for now, they should at least preserve their strong friendship, because in the end I believe they were meant to be best friends. I'm rooting for them and if they need time apart to heal that's understandible. I hope and trust they'll both keep open minds on how to best proceed. I'll be thrilled if they come out of this a stronger, happier couple!!

Therefore, really knew that Lindsay is a very sensitive and has internal problems, that she felt insecure and endured a lot during her young age.
