SJP may be most famous for running around Manhattan in tutus and Manolos, but seems like her husband, Matthew Broderick and son James go for comfort over style.

And I don't think her son looks too happy about it!

Sex and the City's Sarah Jessica Parker dropped young James Wilkie off at school on Thursday, and it's a good thing the two were bundled up cuz it was breezy out! Such cute expressions on James' face, right? But we think Sarah could dress a bit more stylish... you know, considering!

Author Candace Bushnell is turning her mega-famous Sex and the City book into a prequel about Carrie Bradshaw's teenage years, which is exciting enough.

But when asked by Access Hollywood who should play the role Sarah Jessica Parker owned for years, Candace responded:

"I don't know...Miley Cyrus!"

It's kind of a leap to go from Hannah Montana to Carrie Bradshaw, but it just might be the kind of transition from tween queen to young star that Miley would be looking for.

This sounds like a bad episode of poor Sarah Jessica Parker's famed HBO show!

Star Magazine reports that the Sex and the City actress' hubby, Matthew Broderick, has been having an affair "with a gorgeous redhead half his age," says an inside source.

Apparently, Matthew met the 25-year-old youth counselor in a bar, began text messaging and then seeing each other during "late-night visits to the other woman's apartment" - and all this while SJP was filming SatC: The Movie!

Another source also claims that the woman took Matthew to a friend's apartment one night, "dragged Matthew into the friend's bedroom, then shut the door." Matthew emerged a half hour later, murmuring "well... bye!" before heading out.

Now Parker and Broderick, who have a son (James Wilkie) together, might be headed towards Splitsville. Think the story is true?

So sad - these two seemed to have the perfect marriage!

Sarah Jessica Parker attended MLB's All-Star game in New York City on Tuesday, and the trademark mole on her chin appears to have been removed.

A source close to SJP told E! Online, “Yes, she’s had it removed,” and a source for Us Weekly says, “It’s true. She did have it done. There was no reason for it, it wasn’t because she didn’t like her mole, and it wasn’t because of any medical reason, it was simply because she was in the mood to have it removed. That’s all.” However, a representative for Parker denied these reports and stated, "Nothing has been removed." Hmm, who should we believe?

Other celebrities who have had moles removed include Enrique Iglesias and actor Ewan McGregor.

Great news for all you Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte lovers: HBO announced today that they are very interested in making a sequel to the mega hit Sex And The City!

Michael Lombardo, head of HBO programming on the west coast said:

"There is enormous interest by Warner Brothers Newline to do another Sex and the City, and I think, in fact, they're trying with our help to put that together now. When that happens, how long it will be, I can't say. I think everybody associated with that project was really heartened by, the enthusiasm from the fans of the show."

More love, sex and fashion sounds good to us!

It seems like every celebrity has gotten their own TV show in the past week - Matthew Perry, George Clooney and Janet Jackson to name a few.

Sarah Jessica Parker can be added to that list, as is currently in talks with Warner Bros. to get her own television show called The Ivy Chronicles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Ivy Chronicles follows the story Ivy Ames, a single mother in modern New York. Ames is an Upper East Side woman who gets divorced, loses her high-powered job is forced to start over. After taking her children out of private school, Ames launches a business to help upper-middle-class women get their children into elite kindergartens.

Though there's no Samantha or cosmopolitans, this show does sound pretty interesting!

Apparently Sarah Jessica Parker still shares the same filthy habit with Carrie on SATC as well as her hubby, Matthew Broderick. And the worst part is, it looks like their young son may be following in their footsteps, according to NY Magazine.

At the screening of Broderick's new flick, Finding Amanda, Matthew told the magazine, “I used to smoke cigarettes, and I still do, lately. I gave that up a long time ago, but every now and then I will fall off for a week.” Broderick says SJP is “worse than me on that,” and that their 5-year-old-son, James Wilkie is “already curious. He’ll see a cigarette butt and say, 'What is that? Why do people smoke?' I can just see the little budding gene of a smoker in there.”

Um, yuck! Smoking kills, makes your breath smell and a bunch of other nasty things - let's hope SJP doesn't try to write a parenting book - we'll boycott it!

With the phenomenal box office success of the Sex and the City movie this weekend - and due to the fact that sooo many fans are coming back for multiple viewings - we have to ask...

Sex and the City: The Movie smashed box office records this weekend, raking in an estimated $55.7 million, the biggest opening ever for a rom-com, not to mention a chick flick!

Did you see it? And did you love it???

Let me first say this: I love Sarah Jessica Parker. From her early roles in movies like L.A. Story and Hocus Pocus all the way through the Sex and the City series, SJP has played an array of characters (dumb blondes, neurotic New Yorkers) to comic perfection.

But there's no excuse for this:

Sure, it's only street-wear, but still! Did she steal a pair of Katherine Heigl's Grey's Anatomy scrubs? We much prefer her evening-wear:

Mmm, it's a little mermaid-ish, but that's okay. It must be hard leaving behind those SatC outfits - everything else pales in comparison!

It may have been the Sex and the City movie premiere last night - but clearly, the movie's leading ladies left all the sex for the silver screen!

Seriously, just look at how the movie's stars turned out to their own premiere - not that they don't look great, of course, but where's the daringly bared flesh? None of the big four wore anything that stopped above the knee - heck, Sarah and Cynthia were both sporting floor-length gowns!

Kristen, for her part, was looking chaste in a full skirt:

And even Kim Cattrall couldn't kick things up a notch - she wore this dowdy below-the-knee number:

A New Line rep has confirmed that Jennifer Aniston's big summer movie He's Just Not That Into You has been pushed back several months. That's terrible news - unless you're Sarah Jessica Parker!

An insider who spoke to Life & Style claims the schedule change was due to concerns over the mounting buzz for Parker's much-anticipated Sex In The City movie, which execs expect to tap the same market as Into You.

According to the insider, however, SJP and Jen are far from friends - and this release-date brouhaha perfectly captures the rivalry that exists between them.

"Jen was looking forward to going up against the 'Sex' ensemble -- especially Sarah Jessica Parker -- and some of the other summer blockbusters," the insider told the mag. "They've never been friends in real life, and probably never will be.”

Jen, however, isn't letting her professional enmity for Sarah cloud her opinions of her own work. "Jen's convinced her film has a superior story and more attractive cast," the insider said. "People are going to compare these movies and she doesn't regret taking part in the project. This is the script that lured her back to work after taking two years off. She's standing by her belief that it is a worthy picture."

Well, we sure can't wait to see it - whenever it comes out!

We spotted the lovely Sarah Jessica Parker out in NYC last night with hubby Matthew Broderick, and we can't help but notice how her metallic stilettos look like something straight out of Carrie Bradshaw's closet!

This makes us miss Carrie, Big, the girls and the Manolos more than ever - good thing Sex and the City: The Movie comes out May 30th!

She's not filming her movie for once!

We spotted SJP in NYC leaving the house with her hubbie Matthew and son James. Think their little tyke will ever have a desire to see his mom analyze life and love in Sex and the City?

Hopefully not until he's much, much older!
