Ohio Police Chief Convicted Of Three Felonies In Sarah Jessica Parker Surrogate Case

A jury convicted the Ohio police chief who was accused of breaking into Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's surrogate's house of three felonies for receiving stolen property, theft in office and tampering with evidence, but acquitted him of misdemeanor burglary.
Martins Ferry Chief Barry Carpenter was accused of breaking into SJP's baby mama's house in May to obtain ultra-sounds and other information about the twins, Tabitha and Marion so that he could sell them to the paparazzi.
The AP reports that Jurors delivered the verdict after deliberating for twelve hours. If convicted, Carpenter could serve up to 10 years in prison.
He will be sentenced on December 10th.
