Sarah Jessica Parker Talks Sex and the City Fashion
Sarah Jessica Parker may dress like any other New York mom out on the streets in her neighborhood, but on the set of Sex and the City 2, she got to live out every woman's fashion fantasies!
In the new book companion book, Sex and the City 2: The Stories. The Fashion. The Adventure, SJP dishes about the fabulous outfits in the movie -- and how Carrie Bradshaw got her eclectic sense of style. "We couldn't get anybody to loan us a sock for 24 hours back then," Parker said of the early days of the show. That's why designer Pat Field used a lot of vintage finds for Carrie's wardrobe! "She [Field] was so industrious and smart and creative," SJP said. "She would see the way New York really was at the time but use vintage as a big part of Carries' wardrobe … Part of it was just a necessity, but it was also a design choice."
We absolutely cannot wait to see what design choices are made for the new film!
