Sarah Palin Hands Out The Jokes On The Tonight Show

I'm absolutely not a Sarah Palin fan, but her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night did make me crack a smile. Sarah pokes fun at her tendency to take notes on her hand, telling Jay, "We're going old school tonight," when he asks where the cue cards are. Sarah then reveals the words "Good evening and welcome to the Tonight Show" scrawled across the palm of her hand. Ha. Ha.
Sarah appeared a bit nervous at the beginning of the program, but after a few minutes she calmed down considerably. Sarah even explained the aforementioned hand note controversy, saying, "I took notes [when I was a kid], I take notes today, even on the palm of my hand, and just to get the left all whee-whee'd up and get their heads spinning, I'm going to promise to keep doing it!"
Sigh. Can you believe this woman was almost elected Vice President?
At least she can make fun of herself...now can we please get her out of politics? K thanks!
