She is a terrible singer. She presumably selected these songs because they would be appropriate for her voice. Unfortunately her voice is not appropriate for music.

I think the song is rather nice. I have no problem. Her voice has texture, she sings on-key. The arrangement is beautiful. It is the video that I don't like. It seems rather narcissistic and self-indulgent. It's not anything we can relate to, although the director clearly intended it to be organic and evoke an empathetic reaction. Do we really need to see Scarlett being made-up? Is that dramatic or something? Is that really what's dramatic in her life? I mean, if they wanted to make something"raw" and "real", they should've dug deeper. Maybe shown her crying or alone, at night, in her apartment. Something human. The video unfortunately felt artificial. But the song, I thought, was lovely. Great production on it. She clearly got top people to work on it.

Personally I think she is way overrated as an actress...as for her"singing"...well that's pretty painful to the ears as well,she's so monotone and flat sounding...

scarlett is a good actress. the song just isn't the right choice to start off her singing career. i'm not trying to be a hater, but her voice sounds robotic and unpleasant. hopefully her other songs don't sound like this one. good luck scarlett.

I liked it and I think its a great video. A good one for pre teen girls so they can see all the preperation that goes in to looking "hollywood pretty". Us normal people dont have to go threw all that to look pretty so just imagine those hollywood beauties must not be as beautiful as we think they are w/o all that preperation.
