Sean Penn and Petra Nemcova hit the red carpet in Cannes for Penn's black-tie event to bring awareness to his fundraiser ... Haiti: Carnival in Cannes.

The benefit was created to raise money for the victims of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. At a press conference before the event, Penn said the following about the cause:

"The reason we have Haiti fatigue is because there was never a commitment in the first place. It is time for our formidable and elegant president to stand side by side with the new president of Haiti."

Penn created the J/P Haitian Relief Organization following the earthquake in the hopes of raising money for those affected by the natural disaster.

Looks like these two have rekindled their romance!

Not only are Sean Penn and Petra Nemcova hosting a charity event to support Haiti this weekend, but we spotted the two enjoying a very romantic dinner at Tetou restaurant in Cannes, France this evening.

The couple first hooked up in 2008, and though they appeared to move on quickly from their fling (Penn, 51, got back together with ex-wife Robin Wright and in 2011 he was linked to Scarlett Johansson; Nemcova, 32, was engaged to beau Jamie Belman from December 2010 to April 2012), they're back on now!

A source at the restaurant tells X17online exclusively that the two "spent more time flirting than eating," and Nemcova couldn't keep her hands off of her former flame.

Not so fast! The I Am Sam star was spotted grocery shopping on Easter Sunday with a beautiful young girl, and at first we assumed the Hollywood bad boy had a new love, but it turns out the stunner is actually his 21-year-old daughter Dylan. We guess good looks just run in the family!

The 51-year-old actor looks half his age... those beach runs are really doing the trick! Although, he's barely recognizable in his new film role for This Must Be The Place. The Fast Times At Ridgemont High leading man will play Cheyenne, an American rockstar living in bored and aimless retirement in Dublin.

What a transformation!

Sean Penn was officially made an ambassador at large for Haiti at the Cinema for Peace benefit on Saturday night, which benefited the Oscar winner's J/P Haitian Relief Organization.

The event raised $5 million, and stars like Demi Moore, Melanie Griffith, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Orlando Bloom, Mel Gibson, James Gandolfini and Hilary Swank attended and made generous donations.

During the fundraiser, Penn was offered the job by Haitian foreign minister Laurent Lamothe, and Penn gladly accepted, adding that it would be a nice "change being called 'Hey you [expletive]' to 'Hey Mr. Ambassador.'"

The almost-31-year-old Ryan Gosling and the 51-year-old Sean Penn are the perfect examples of the rising Hollywood superstar and the classic, iconic film actor -- and they're starring alongside each other in the upcoming Gangster Squad.

We can't wait to see how two of our favorite stars in 1940's costumes manage to keep the mafia from infiltrating LA. Kinda like a retro Bloods and Crips!

The film also stars Josh Brolin and Emma Stone. We can't wait to see her in bright red lipstick and vampy vintage dress!

Sean Penn certainly knows how to cause a bit of controversy, and we're curious to see how the media and the public will react to his latest interview.

Penn appeared on Piers Morgan Tonight and voiced his support for the Occupy Wall Street protesters, but he also chatted about everything from President Obama to the Tea Party. "You have what I call the get the 'N' word out of the White House party, the Tea Party, this kind of sensibility, which is much more of a distraction," Penn said. "At the end of the day, there's a big bubble coming out of their head saying, you know, can we just lynch him?"

While leaving Giorgio Baldi with new girlfriend Shannon Costello, actor Sean Penn lost his temper with photographers ... spitting at the cameras!

The hot-tempered actor has had a history with paparazzi-involved scuffles. Back in 2009, Penn kicked photographer Jordan Dawes. As a result, the actor received 36 months probation and was ordered to serve 300 hours of community service.

As for this new relationship ... Penn, 51, and Costello, 26, went public as a couple last week, and over the weekend, the duo hit the streets in Malibu for a run.

By the looks on Costello's face after Penn's spitting encounter, doesn't look like she's too impressed.

One of Hollywood's sexiest pairs has sadly ended their months-long relationship.

Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn are officially over, according to PEOPLE.

After Penn was seen hanging out with several sexy chicks in Cannes during the film fest (ScarJo was in New Mexico, filming The Avengers) we started to suspect something was up between the pair.

They had recently gone public with their relationship, allowing photogs to capture them holding hands, as they made their way to a White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington D.C. last April.

Scarlett and Sean were first linked back in February, after they were seen getting flirty over lunch in LA.

The star's reps have declined to comment on the split.
