Selena Gomez: "I Make Mistakes All The Time"

Selena Gomez wants the world to know she isn't as perfect as you may think!
The Disney princess recently opened up in a recent interview, revealing she makes mistakes just like everybody else. But since she's in the spotlight, her main focus is trying to be a good role-model for her younger fans.
Gomez expressed:
- "I never really said I want to be a role model. But then when it happened I was so down for it. I'm human, I'm not perfect. I make mistakes all the time, but I guess my job is to keep those mistakes to myself, which I'm already fine doing and just try to be the best I can be for those kids."
Justin Bieber's ladylove also admits the whole idea of fame is a bit of a "vain" concept. The Monte Carlo star exclaims:
"This is a very superficial job. I sit in a chair for two hours and get hair and makeup done and talk about [myself] in interviews. That's a very vain thing to do. And I do get caught up in it sometimes."
Don't get too caught up, girl!
The 18-year-old pop star recently gave her fans, and "The Biebes", a huge scared when she was hospitalized last week due to malnourishment and exhaustion. Luckily Gomez got better fast, and she blamed her addiction to junk food for the temporary illness.

what kind of mistake? like getting knocked up by bieber?this interview looked like a disclaimer to me...
The way I see it is this- she's in the "Spotlight" (one of my favorite songs by her) and there are going to be people that simply do not like her. What's important is that you don't drag her down. It's easy to sit and say she's terrible, but you don't know what kind of mental war she might be in. =3 TEAM SELENA!!!!!!
