Sex and the City Author Says She Wants Selena Gomez For Prequel

Selena Gomez is the young Charlotte York?
Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell wants it that way!
Rumors have been swirling over an upcoming Sex and the City prequel, featuring Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte, before they were thirty-something NYC fashionistas.
The iconic author gushed to The Daily Caller on Justin Bieber's ladylove:
- "Casting is like kismet. I'm going to get into trouble for this, but I was looking at some pictures of Selena Gomez today and thinking 'she'd make a really good young Charlotte. She's so pretty. I was like...gosh, wouldn't she be great? Am I right or wrong? I'm not good at this. If I say something like that, then the next thing I know, people are like, no!"
Bushnell just released the second SATC prequel, Summer and the City, and she confirms the prequel will "definitely" come to life, either on the "big or small screen."
We can't wait!
