After three long years of remodeling, Simon Cowell's $25 million mansion is finally suitable enough for the X Factor mogul to settle in!

The sprawling five-bedroom estate comes equipped with a state-of-the-art gym (so Simon can look good in those extra-tight tees!), a luxury spa with a wet steam room, a custom-made media room with a bar and plush leather seating for 20, a gallery to display Cowell's countless gold and platinum records and awards, an indoor lap pool, and separate staff quarters for a live-in butler and maid.

It's a bummer that his most recent ex-fiancee won't be joining him in the lavish sprawling estate, but luckily he bought Mezhgan Hussainy her very own $8 million abode as a consolation prize!

Simon Cowell had a scary run-in with an intruder at his London home on Saturday, but thankfully the X Factor judge is alright after the incident, which is now being handled by the police.

Cowell found 29-year-old Leanne Zaloumis armed with a brick, and she had been wandering around his house after breaking and entering -- literally! -- by smashing in a window. "The woman who was in his house clearly has some sort of mental problems," a source tells Us Weekly of Cowell's intruder. "She roamed around the house, lied in his bed, [and went] through his bathroom." Hmm, sounds kinda like that kooky Alanis Morissette song...

Cowell's rep Max Clifford told The Sun that his client heard a loud noise and rushed upstairs to check it out. "It came from the bathroom, so he went in – and there was a woman standing there holding a brick," Clifford said. "She had smashed her way in through the window, and it was unclear how long she had been there or what she was doing. It was a very frightening experience for Simon, who told me it was like something from a horror movie."

Zaloumis was later charged with trespassing on the property and intending to "inflict grievous bodily harm upon a person therein," according to Reuters.

It was reported that Britney Spears turned down a $10 million offer to join The X Factor, but that doesn't mean she's not interested in coming on board!

Simon Cowell chatted with Fox's Good Morning New York, and when asked about Spears joining the show, he replied, "You'll have to wait and see. I can't confirm or deny anything right now. The truth is, we are talking to a number of people. We're looking at a very famous singer and one very famous actress. You've gotta talk to everybody." Oh so vague!

After Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger were let go, Cowell and company are looking to fill two spots, but when it comes to replacing former host Steve Jones, it sounds like they're looking for an American star. "With the host, too many Brits on the show, if I'm being honest with you...one Brit allowed," Cowell said. "I always wanted a boy and a girl to host the show. And I like hosts who don't kind of have a hosting background, you know. I like them when they've done acting and stuff like that. It's a different kind of dynamic."

Darren Criss reportedly turned down the hosting gig the other day, so Cowell is definitely still on the hunt for a fresh face ... and hopefully one that won't break the bank!

Simon Cowell chatted with Extra's Terri Seymour about Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul and Steve Jones' recent exits from The X Factor, and he reveals that this wasn't exactly how he thought things would pan out.

Cowell explained, "It's only because I opened my big mouth and said we were going to get 20 million [viewers]. If I hadn't said that, everybody would be saying the show was a huge success." Seymour asked Cowell if he thought The X Factor felt threatened by The Voice, whose mentors are Grammy-winning artists. Cowell replied, "No. Because I would ask how many hit records have they made? How many artists have they discovered?" Burn!

On Abdul's departure, Cowell admitted, "I would've liked to have kept her. She was very gracious and I said that to her. She understands it's business; it's never personal." So what about Scherzinger? Simon says, "I don't think she's mad. I think she's disappointed."

Cowell shot down reports that Beyonce would join the judging panel, telling Seymour, "I have no idea where this rumor came from. I read it online that I offered her $100 million a year. It's complete nonsense." While he would "love" Mariah Carey as a judge, Simon noted, "[Y]ou can't expect someone who's just had two kids to make the kind of commitment you would need on this show." Cowell added that Madonna would be "great" but "expensive" and Katy Perry "would be fun -- and she's feisty."

Simon Cowell is reportedly furious after finding out that the BBC is going to broadcast the UK version of The Voice at the same time as Simon's show, Britain's Got Talent.

Simon apparently told The People, "It is 100 percent a declaration of war. They have gone head-to-head with us -- it's their decision. We'll make it a competition." Meow!

Simon recently upped the prize money on Britain's Got Talent from 100,000 to 500,000 pounds, and he even brought in new judges. The UK version of The Voice is set to air this spring, and mentors include Tom Jones, Jessie J, Will.I.Am and The Script's Danny O'Donoghue. The competition series is based on the mega successful US version of the show, so perhaps Simon feels a bit threatened?

She's been MIA throughout his entire St. Barth vacation, so it comes as no surprise that Simon Cowell and fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy have decided to put the breaks on their engagement, for now.

The X Factor judge claims they haven't been in contact in nearly a month, telling the Daily Mirror:

“It’s quite a complicated relationship. We have had a break from each other, and we are still incredibly close. I’m vulnerable. It’s not on, it’s not off, it’s somewhere in the middle. I don’t know if I will ever get married, but I am happy.”

That pretty much says it all!

The pair first met on the set of American Idol back in 2003 while she was doing his make-up, and Cowell proposed in February 2010 with a $500K diamond engagement ring. But breakup rumors began to spread when Simon was spotted getting cozy with a mystery brunette, and ex-girlfriend Sinatta, during a 25-day vacation on a rented yacht in St Barth.

The American Idol boss also revealed that he may have gone a bit overboard when he confessed that Mezhgan was "The One" on Piers Morgan's CNN show, telling the Mail, "I got caught up in the moment."

Mezhgan has moved out of Cowell's LA mansion and into another home he owns, which has earned the nickname “girlfriends’ graveyard,” after ex Terri Seymour stayed there during their 2008 split.

The singer was said to have had a huge fight with the America Idol creator during his annual Christmas trip to Barbados, after he invited Sinatta and her kids to stay with him in his luxurious resort while also inviting ex-GF, Jackie St Clair, to hang out with them. You can't have it both ways, Simon!

The celebrity makeup artist was rumored to be vacationing by her man's side on his rented yacht in St. Barth, but so far, we've only seen pix of the music mogul getting cozy with gorgeous New York socialite Lauren Silverman. The stunning brunette happens to be married to real estate and gaming mogul Andrew Silverman who's Simon's BFF, according to a rep for the X Factor!

Cowell and Mrs. Silverman appeared to be flirting with each other while on the deck of the 196-foot yacht, which costs $600,000 a week to rent, btw!

And just after we snapped these photos of the X Factor honcho getting close with Silverman, Cowell invited ex-girlfriend Sinitta to join them on the boat.

Cowell was just with his ex in Barbados and now she's followed him to this French Caribbean island to continue the vacay. Check out the similarities between Sinitta's pose and Lauren's pose with Simon last week ... hmmm ... photo op, anyone???
