Simon Cowell Is Taking Over The World

Or at least the television airwaves!
The witty Brit is said to be bringing his popular X Factor show (you know, the one that discovered Leona Lewis) to Fox in a deal that could bring him as much as 100 million a year, according to THR.
Yeah, I know!
See, Simon wasn't allowed to bring the show to the U.S. under his current Idol deal (probably something about not wanting to dilute the brand), but with Cowell in the final year of his contract, he's leveraging another two-year stint on Idol in exchange for producing the popular X Factor show. He'll apparently get 50 mill a cycle for Idol, with another potential 50 for X Factor!
Simon may only act as a producer on the U.S. version (he's a judge in the UK), but there's talks of bringing on another familiar face to the Idol-like panel: Paula Abdul!
Now, I have no idea why Fox would want two very similar singing shows on their net at once (ok, who am I kidding - the money!), but with Idol airing in January, the fall season is open for another competish show like this.
And if they DO hire Paula for the panel, which judge would you rather watch? Paula or Ellen?
Tough call!
