Will Simon Cowell And His Fiancee EVER Get Married?
Posted on Sat May 14, 2011 12:30 PM PDT

X Factor boss Simon Cowell has been engaged to Mezhgan Hussainy since February of last year and we're beginning to wonder if these two are ever going to actually get married!
We spotted the pair leaving Cecconi's Italian restaurant after a romantic dinner ... maybe they were doing some wedding planning over candlelight?
A year-long engagement in Hollywood time is like 3 years in regular-people time. These LA-types usually get engaged during a vacay in Cabo, hire wedding planner Mindy Weiss, and exchange "I do"'s within a time span of about 6 months at the most!
Hussainy, 36, and Cowell, 51, dated for almost a year before Simon popped the question and they had met years before that. So what's the hold-up? It's likely Simon's work is getting in the way. X Factor - produced and staring Cowell - launches in the fall and Simon only just finished locking in his panel of judges ... the night before the first audition was taped last Saturday!
Of course you know the list by now ... Paula Abdul's back together with Simon, British pop sensation Cheryl Cole, Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger, and record label honcho L.A. Reid will be making and breaking the careers of the new talent the team will travel around the U.S. to find. Between The Voice, American Idol and X Factor what will YOU be watching?
You think the Paula-Simon team will be enough to propel X Factor into the ratings lead?
