Report: Sofia Vergara Is NOT Engaged!

Despite the fact that Sofia Vergara showed off a giant diamond ring last week during her vacation in Mexico, it's now being reported that she is NOT engaged to beau Nick Loeb. Loeb supposedly asked for her hand in marriage while the pair visited the Mayan archeological ruins of Chichen Itza with her friends and family.
Extra reports that Nick "popped the question, but she did not accept his proposal ... He asked her to wear the ring and she didn’t want to embarrass him." Um, wow!
Seeming to back up the story, Sofia stepped out in Paris on Tuesday, and the ring was noticeably absent from her left hand.
Her publicist has yet to respond to our requests for a statement...
