Six years after leaving ABC's The View, Star Jones returned to the set and took a seat alongside Barbara Walters, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd.

Jones, 49, told the ladies:

"I take full responsibility for my own behavior, but I won't take responsibility if I did not make a decision I couldn't live with. I made the decision to go out on my own terms, to control it, so that if I was ever invited back, I would feel good about it."

While appearing on the show, Star discussed heart disease awareness and her 2003 gastric bypass surgery. Back in 2003, Walters covered up Jones' procedure. As for why Walters covered it up, she told Star, "Because we loved you, we did lie."

Joy Behar joked, "You're now a skinny bitch."

Star Jones underwent cardiac surgery Wednesday at a New York hospital as a follow-up to an operation she had years ago to remove a thoracic tumor.

Her rep confirmed the planned surgery and explained it was related to cardiac surgery she had 30 years ago. "The procedure was successful and she is recovering well with her family. Star is grateful for everyone's thoughts and prayers," the former View co-host's publicist told People.

Jones will celebrate her 48th birthday this Wednesday.

Despite online rumors that Rosie O'Donnell and Star Jones are teaming up for a new reality TV program, Star’s rep tells X17online there is "no truth to this at all."

I have to say, I think I’d watch the show! C’mon, Rosie and Star - I'd like to see you do the Simple Life trek - that would be hilarious!

Entertainment Tonight reports that TV personality Star Jones has filed for divorce from hubbie Al Reynolds - back on March 26th!

The former View star released this statement to ET:

Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.

Hey, the stars gotta eat lunch too - and yesterday, a whole bunch of 'em chose to eat at Mr. Chow's!

First up was Jamie Pressley, who left shortly after American Idol judge Randy Jackson arrived. Sadly, Jamie denied any plans to audition for the show - aw, c'mon! If Scarlett Johnansson can have a singing career, surely anyone can!

A little later, we spotted Star Jones taking her leave from the eatery. Surprisingly, Shar didn't have anything to, er, share - although she sure looked great!

Finally, Randy briefly conversed with the paps (and shooting them a thumbs-up!) before climbing in his amazingly slick-looking ride. Sure looks like Idolatry pays!
